Lash Extensions FAQ

How long will my appointment take?

Full set appointments can take up to 2 hours and 30 minutes to apply. Fills up to 75 minutes.

Does the application hurt?

No, it doesn’t hurt at all.

Will lash extensions damage my natural lashes?

Lash extensions do not damage your natural lashes when applied properly. Which means one individual or volume fan per natural lash.

How long will my extensions last?

This is a tricky question. With proper care, they can last up to 4 weeks. Meaning, those extensions will hang on for this long. But keep in mind that you have a natural lash growth cycle so your natural lashes will shed regularly. This is why fills are recommended every 2-3 weeks.

What is the proper care for my lash extensions?

  • DO NOT pick at or pull extensions off.

  • Cleanse them daily with your Lash & Glam lash cleanser and lash cleansing brush. Be gentle when cleansing and focus on your lash line to remove any makeup, dead skin or build up.

  • Gently brush through your lashes with spoolie to re-fluff lashes. Avoid the base of the lash where the glue is to prevent pop offs. If your spoolie gets stuck while brushing, DO NOT force the spoolie through.

Fills are recommended within 3 weeks to maintain fullness.

Can I get my lashes wet after my appointment?

Yes! You can wet your lashes 3 minutes after your appointment. I use a special treatment which allows the glue to cure quickly. Please remember to cleanse your lashes DAILY.

Can I remove my lashes myself?

NO. The extensions fall out naturally over time (because that’s what your natural eyelashes do). But if you want them removed, do NOT do it yourself – get them removed by a lash professional.

Can I wear makeup with my extensions?

Yes, absolutely. But you won’t feel the need to wear makeup, especially mascara. Just be careful when removing your makeup – use an oil-free makeup remover, and rub very gently. Stick to oil-free products because oil will break-down the glue.

How soon can I touch up my lashes?

Short answer, 3 days.  I offer 30 minute touch-ups and 1 hour weekly touch-ups for $45.  It is highly recommended that you fill your lashes every 2-3 weeks to maintain fullness and shape.
